The Rocktops are an LA based band formed over 18 years ago by guitarist singer Rob Silkensen. The Rocktops perform an infectious mix of popular oldies /classic /contemporary songs as well as some Latin and international favorites that will entertain and bring people together of all ages. They have performed countless special events all over So Cal for car shows, quinceaneras, weddings, city sponsered concerts, numerous house birthday parties as well as a three year residency at the Santa Monica Place Mall and even a performance in Mexico.
Due to their 5 / 5 star rating based on customer reviews and on-line bookings, The Rocktops have been awarded “Best Of” by The Bash (an on-line agency ) every year since 2017.
What sets the Rocktops apart from other bands is their use of the midi accordion. With its unique sound the accordion is at the heart of many American, Latin and European styles of music. Aside from its traditional role, the midi accordion is also able to reproduce any instrument sound.
